Virtual Reality is the computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using a headset and/or controllers.
The easiest answer is that virtual reality “tricks” your brain into thinking you’re someplace else. A virtual reality headset shows you an image, and when you move, the device modifies the image to make it appear as if you’re actually inside a different environment.
As many as 3 individuals can share a station but remember, if you are sharing a station you are also sharing one VR device, limiting your group from enjoying multiplayer experiences together.
Virtual Reality is an immersive and stimulating experience and although age recommendations vary from one VR headset to another, we advise users should be at least 8 years of age. All of our guests under the age of 1313 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult while any guest under the age of 18 must have an age of majority guardian who will need to sign a waiver on their behalf.
Not likely! We have outfitted all 2 of our stations with the HTC Vive Plus, which is considered to be the best available VR hardware on the market. Due to the responsiveness of its motion tracking, the Vive eliminates any delays between what you are doing and what you are seeing, which often is the main cause of motion sickness in virtual reality. Of course each person may react differently to VR, so if you are someone who is easily affected by motion sickness, please let our Customer Experience Representatives know and we will recommend you an experience that is less likely to cause any problems. Your experience and satisfaction are of utmost important to us.
We recommend that you dress in light, comfortable clothing. This is an active experience, so wear something that won’t restrict your ability to move around the space.
Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes early to make sure you have the full experience. Late groups may have their game experience cut short.
